Tässä pro gradu -tutkielmassa suunnitellaan sulautuvaan opetukseen perustuva osajakso Tietoliikenneverkon laitteet Oulun seudun ammattiopistoon tietoja tietoliikennealalle. Tutkielmassa perehdytään Oulun seudun ammattiopistossa syksyllä 2015 tehtyyn kyselyyn, jonka tulokset olivat yksi syy tehdä tämä tutkielma. Opetusteknologioista käsitellään pääsääntöisesti vain niitä laitteita ja sovelluksia, joita käytetään osajaksolla Tietoliikenneverkon laitteet.
